Which school breaks do you cover?
It depends on your school and your district's calendar. Many of our schools offer care for fall break, Thanksgiving, Christmas and winter break, spring break, and all summer. Check with your location for the exact weeks, since calendars vary even between neighboring districts.
What ages is break care for?
Ages served vary by school, so check with your location for details. If you have children across age groups, ask your school how they handle siblings, many families make one drop-off work for everyone.
Do I have to sign up for the whole break?
Not necessarily. Scheduling varies by school, and many offer flexible days or weeks so you can build care around your own plans. For summer, most families pick the weeks that work for them rather than the whole season. Summer and holiday weeks tend to fill first, so it's worth registering once your calendar is set.
What does a week look like?
Each week has a theme that runs Monday through Friday, with a science or discovery project, an art project, and outdoor time every day. A prehistoric week means fossil digs, hatching dinosaur eggs, and erupting volcanoes, and it ends with something your child brings home. Summer has a new theme every week all season. Your school can tell you what's planned next.
Does my child need to be enrolled during the school year?
No. Break care is open to every family, including children enrolled elsewhere or in a district program. Check with your local school about registration and availability.
