"I am grateful I have found this amazing daycare for my child. After I toured a few others, this is the only one that caught my eye. Everyone else rushed through the tours, did not seem enthusiastic, some were not very organized, and some classes seemed too crowded which did not seem very safe. How do you prepare children for kindergarten?

Through a mix of early academics, hands-on projects, and social-emotional growth. Children practice early reading, writing, and math, and just as importantly, they practice being students: following multi-step directions, working in groups, and sticking with a challenge. By the end of the year, kindergarten feels like a next step, not a leap.

Is there a free Pre-K option?

Depending on your state and school, yes. Some of our Florida schools participate in VPK and some Georgia schools participate in Georgia's Pre-K Program, both of which offer a free year of prekindergarten to eligible 4-year-olds regardless of income. Ask your school what's available or see our Free Pre-K pages for eligibility details.

Do children still play in Pre-K?

Absolutely, and on purpose. Pre-K adds more structure and more early academics, but play is still how children this age learn best, so projects, games, and pretend play carry real learning all year. A child who loves coming to school learns more, and we protect that.

How will I know if my child is ready for kindergarten?

You won't have to guess. Your child's teacher sees their growth every day and will talk with you about strengths and next steps throughout the year, so by spring, you'll have a clear, shared picture of how ready they are and what to expect from the transition.
